Dependent Child Sponsorship

Minimum Necessary Income Requirements
This sponsorship program does not require to meet any MNI (Minimum Necessary Income only when the dependent child (sponsored) does not have their own children. If the dependent child has their own children, then the sponsor has to meet a minimum income level depending on the unit of their family. To make sure that the sponsor has the ability to financially support their family, IRCC uses the Minimum Necessary Income (MNI).
Family Unit Size
The family unit size involves all those people the sponsor is currently supporting in Canada as well as those they are intending to sponsor.
Financially Supporting Ability
A sponsor having more than one dependent child is required to prove their financial strength and ability to support all children.
Application In Process
